The Council of States has adopted the motion "Declaration of production methods prohibited in Switzerland".
Now the National Council has to decide whether the Federal Council should be charged with improving customer transparency for plant and animal products by making production methods that are prohibited in Switzerland subject to the declaration obligation and by designing the declaration in such a way that the type of production and origin are clearly visible.
